  Absolutely! It's amazing what people must pay for these "upgrades" when realistically there isn't much end value to the user in most of them. The costs for multi-seat licensing including support for PCB development and embedded linux tools is outrageous,  but people pay it more as an "insurance policy" than with any actual expectation of value for money!

  Software is a biggie in my world of stuff to have. Why are we always looking for the latest version, upgrade or service pack. We all know this will fix so called bugs and create more bugs. There will be new features and some will be left out or moved to some special hiding place in the program where it cannot be found.But as soon as the new version is out we must have the stuff????

  Hi Kenneth, welcome to ELFS. I've been wanting to learn more solidworks to be able to do my own modeling, so maybe I'll get to that sooner rather than later!
